Written and illustrated as a gift for my best friend's baby shower, this children's book holds a special meaning, depicting my favorite memories from our childhood for her daughter to have a glimpse of in the future. You know all their secrets; you get along swell.
When you love somebody you play fun games
like painting and singing and playing in rain.
When you love somebody you stay up all night
telling stories and whispering 'till the daylight.
When you love somebody you laugh 'till you pee!
You'll share cookies, and candies, and honey with tea.
When you love somebody it's hard to say goodbye.
You'll think of them as the days go by.
When you love somebody, you'll travel near
